Zain Jordan and the University of Jordan Continue Delivering Healthcare Services to Students Through the Free Mobile Clinic

Alwakaai news - As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting and advancing the healthcare sector in Jordan, Zain Jordan continues to expand its community health initiatives through its free mobile clinic. In collaboration with the University of Jordan’s Faculty of Dentistry and the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development, Zain is delivering free medical screenings and oral health awareness services to university students.

This initiative is part of a wider series of outreach programs conducted by Zain’s free mobile clinic across various regions of the Kingdom. The program aims to reach diverse segments of society with quality healthcare services that enhance quality of life and promote a preventive health culture as a foundation for a healthier and more sustainable community. It also reflects Zain’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with public, private, academic, and development institutions to maximize the impact of its health initiatives and reinforce its role as a key partner in driving sustainable development in Jordan.

The campaign included free dental check-ups supervised by specialized medical teams from the University of Jordan, along with awareness sessions highlighting the importance of oral hygiene and healthy habits. Students were also encouraged to undergo regular dental screenings to prevent and manage potential health issues at an early stage.

In parallel, Zain’s mobile clinic continues to organize regular visits, in cooperation with the University of Jordan, to elderly care homes and social centers, providing comprehensive free healthcare services and dispensing medications to residents.

Since its launch in 2002, Zain’s free mobile clinic has benefited more than 260,000 individuals, representing one of the company’s flagship social initiatives in the healthcare sector. The clinic plays a key role in improving access to essential healthcare services and raising health awareness among communities, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.

Operated in coordination with the Ministry of Health and local community organizations, the clinic provides a wide range of free healthcare services, including screening for communicable diseases, chronic disease management, dental care, and child health monitoring. The clinic is fully equipped with advanced medical facilities and staffed by a qualified team, including a pediatrician and a dentist. Comprehensive medical check-ups include clinical examinations, oral health assessments, and the provision of necessary medications free of charge. Cases requiring specialized or long-term treatment are referred to relevant public healthcare providers for further care.
